sin city...

This past weekend was my first trip to Las Vegas!!

The BF had a work meeting at the Monte Carlo on Thursday and Friday, so I flew out there Thursday night!  After the 50 minute flight, it took my BF and I an hour to find each other at the airport... ugh, that was definitely the most confusing airport I have ever been in!  They don't label things very well in Nevada.

Since BF had his meeting Friday morning, I took my time getting ready, went to the Starbucks in the hotel for breakfast, spent some time by the pool, and walked around in the hotel shops until he was finished.  After meeting back up, and another experience with Nevada's horrible signage, we checked into our hotel for the rest of the weekend {a free one because of all of the BF's rewards points :)}... After a quick nap, we headed to the Wynn for a delicious buffet dinner, complete with Alaskan King crab legs and creme brulee... yum!  After dinner, we headed back to our hotel to change before heading out for the night.

Friday night was spent on Fremont St. (since we are 80 at heart, we only stayed out until midnight, lol).  Fremont St,. is definitely an experience!  There were Michael Jackson impersonators, an Elvis impersonator contest, and probably the most interesting crowd of people I have seen... We went there for the light show, which happened to be a tribute to The Doors (random, eh?)

Saturday was spent walking the strip... which was a serious journey!!  We started at Treasure Island and walked down to the MGM Grand, taking pictures along the way....

...and Saturday night was spent at The Beatles LOVE!  Unfortunately, no picture allowed, but it was absolutely AMAZING!!  I definitely recommend it!

All in all, it was a pretty good first Vegas experience! :)
